Is there any gift more exciting to buy, than a gift for a new baby? 

It's a joyful gift to buy, it gives us that squishy happy feeling, and makes us all go a bit gooey! Whether it's a relative, friend or work colleague, we just love buying for new babies. I think it's that we love the pure happiness that a birth brings and the hope and purity of it all.

Well, I am thrilled to be introducing a wonderful new Baby collection into the shop, that I can't wait to share with you. Baby gifts have been a core collection in The Porch for many years and when sourcing gifts for my Baby range, I always want to select a beautiful collection of perfect gifts – a high quality collection that shows the careful thought I've put into my decisions, the thing that my customers will LOVE, or find genuinely useful.

I have been lucky to work with some amazing companies and this one is no exception: Wrendale Designs. I have been happily stocking Wrendale for about a year now and they have just launched a brand-new baby collection, 'Little Wren'. It is simply adorable. A delightful range of high quality and perfect attention to detail. The collection focuses exclusively on baby animals and really brings the ‘cute factor’ to the collection.

Oh! Well these baby blankets are just delightful. Beautifully soft, featuring an all over pattern of baby animal illustrations, with a soft touch reverse. Available in 3 different designs, I just know that they will be loved by everyone. I think baby blankets are a gift that is kept and remembered and will feature in lots of photos. These are just the cutest, softest little bamboo baby socks to keep tiny toes cozy! Available in 3 beautiful designs of baby animals, the tiny socks have coloured tops and toes and are presented in an illustrated gift box. This is a gorgeous gift for any newborn and are a really good price too.

 I feel like I need another baby, just so that I can have these babygro's! I must admit, I did ooh and aah as I opened the delivery full of soft pastels and baby animal designs. These babygro's are just simply adorable and I especially love the one with the peter pan collar.

They are beautifully soft, long sleeved and footed, keeping baby cozy. I'll be excitedly waiting to give one as a gift.

The 'Little Wren' baby range has gorgeous greeting cards that compliments the collection and I love them all. Adorable baby animals, soft pastels and finished off with gold foiling to make them extra special. Even the envelopes are illustrated! I really think this is one of my favourite baby greeting card collections ever. Oh and not forgetting the matching gift bags to finish off the gift perfectly.
