In My Bow Era

Let's be honest..... I have a slight obsession with ribbons.

Actually, who am I kidding? I'm fully in my bow era. 

There's just something about a beautifully tied ribbon that makes everything feel a little more special.  A simple gift becomes thoughtful. A parcel feels exciting. Even the smallest present can have that "ooh, what's inside?" feeling when it's finished with the perfect bow.

My Love Affair With Ribbons

For me, ribbons aren't just something you use to wrap a present. They're part of the whole gifting experience.

I love the textures, the colours, the little details and, of course, finding just the right ribbon to finish a gift. From soft, pretty pastels to classic neutrals and gorgeous statement shades, a ribbon can completely change the look of a present.

And let's face it... there's no such thing as too many ribbons.

The Finishing Touch

A beautifully wrapped gift says, "I chose this especially for you."

When I'm putting gift packages together for customers, I think that adding a ribbon takes it one step further. A bow can make a birthday present feel extra celebratory, a wedding gift look effortlessly elegant, or a little thank-you gift feel that much more thoughtful.

Sometimes it's the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

This year, when buying in gifts for the shop, I spent a lot of time looking for bow-themed gifts. I know.... it's an obsession, but humour me! I found some absolutely beautiful things. Some were packaged up in bow themed packaging, or were decorated with bows, or embroidered with bows, and yes, I love all of them. So yes , I'm embracing it.

I'm choosing the pretty ribbon. I'm adding the extra bow. I'm making gifts look gorgeous before they've even been opened.

Because gifting isn't just about what's inside the box. It's about the excitement, the anticipation and the little details that make someone feel special.

And if that means I'm officially living in my bow era.
